William "Refrigerator" Perry was a cult hero for the Super Bowl XX championship Bears, but in no way was he an NFL Hall of Famer. However, the former defensive tackle will be inducted into the celebrity wing of the World Wrestling Entertainment Hall of Fame, joining Pete Rose, according to the CHICAGO TRIBUNE.

Perry appeared at WrestleMania 2 at the Rosemont Horizon in 1986 as part of a 20-man battle royal that also featured Big John Studd, Bret "Hit Man" Hart, Andre the Giant and Bears teammate Jim Covert. Perry will be inducted Saturday night in Rosemont by WWE champion John Cena, who was a Division III All-America center at Springfield (Mass.) College.

Wow now here is something you can be proud of...

What I want to know is why in the hell was Cena a center of all things?

I loved the Fridge when I was a kid. But he was just that, a novelty. I think the WWE and the Hot Dog Eating Hall of Fame are the only halls he'll be in. :lmao:
