Heck, I'll come over and kick it around with ya', bear. It seems always it's pitching, pitching and more pitching. It looks like the Phils are no different in that respect.

With Atlanta and the Mets getting off to shaky starts, the Phillies have had a little breathing room to gel as a team. You've had some pretty good pitching, too - especially Daal - along with Mesa as a solid closer and guys like Gomes, Bottalico and Cormier to eat up innings.

I would think that before anyone pulls the trigger on a deal for Astacio, I would think they would give a little longer look at Figueroa, especially for what they are thinking of giving up - Valent and Duckworth, a couple of guys that are going to be impact players soon. It's still a couple of weeks until the deadline, and if another arm is needed, there are sure to be more available. I don't know if the price will drop any, though.
