Buccos drop opener..

Well, the pen gave the Brewers the opener. Perez was dominant but reached his pitch count. Nine k's with a fastball around 92 mph. He looked like the Perez of two years ago, but with a little less speed. I am disappointed. I thought the opener might set the tome for the entire season. Lets hope that thought was wrong. We only managed two runs which didnt help either.

Yeah, two runs was tough to swallow. If we're going to score like we did last season, we're going to have about the same amount of victories.

I don't like that Olly doesn't seem to be able to get his fastball up there. Though I guess if he pitches like he did yesterday, it doesn't matter.

The bullpen should be alright. For some reason, I'm expecting a good performance tonight, complete with real offense. I'll be back tomorrow to apologoize for or celebrate this prediction. :)
