4/8/06 - New York Yankees vs. ERVIN SANTANA
LET'S GO YANKEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I recall correctly, Santana hurt the Yankees during the ALDS last year. Reliefing an injury Colon and pitching 5 and 1/3 inning to earn the win.
I also recall Santana doing very well against above 500. teams last season, too.
Anyway, currently, it's 1-1 in the top of the 3rd.

Santana pulled after Joe West gives Giambi two freebie strikes.
Bases loaded, two outs in the 6th for Matsui.

He pitched really well tonight, it is too bad he got shafted on those missed calls by the ump. 3-1 LAA with two outs in the bottom of the 6th with Vlad on first.

They were inside. Did you not see how much Molina pulled the pitches over?
I guess it's repeat.
Santana had another impressive outing against that stack line-up of the New York Yankees. I wonder how much more this kid going to improve. I do have him on one of my fantasy teams. Too bad I did not have him starting yesterday.
