Coors Alert! Extra security needed for Bonds!

Bill already has had an altercation with Coors security over a "Bonds Sucks" sign:D

There's still an hour left till the start of the game and the drinking has begun:laff:

Of course all the heckling by our fearless heroes, Bill and Shad, did not stop Bonds from connecting with his 1st hr of the season:hmm:

Bonds sucks. That homer barely cleared the fence - I've seen Alex Cora go deeper. Oh well, he was bound to hit one sooner or later.

I'm sure he heard us, though - along with a few thousand others doing the "Juice Juice" chant, haha.

That was a couple years ago that I tried to bring in a Barry Sux sign. I noticed there were a few signs that made it in last night (guess you gotta know someone at the gate) - and one dude had a cool syringe hat right behind home plate.

Many beers were sacrificed during the game - it was pretty foggy out when it was over. ;)

We did hook up with <a href="http://blogs.rockymountainnews.com/denver/rockytalklive/archives/2006/04/captain_earthman.html">Captain Earthman</a>. Shad has some pics - I have the autographed ball.

Man I dont know what would have happened if Bill wasnt holding me by the shoe strings and me hanging over the wall trying to get over for a round with Bonds. Some quick thinking by Bill to call James and get my mind off it for a while.

Until the Chicken man took all our thinking off of Bonds..... :D

The booing of Barry Bonds was so loud at the Rockies game that we were jolted by the racket while dining in the stadium's glassed-in Mountain Ranch Club. The Rockies had extra security on hand, and Bonds had four security men dressed as fans in the left field stands, we were told by a Rockies official.

I was very shocked at the fans booing Bonds the way they was. Coors field is normaly very layed back crowd that dont get loud to often. But it was a booing crowd and was getting into it from the bean ball war to Bonds. A great baseball crowd I thought.

Or they could have been booing the chicken man sitting a couple of rows in front of us.

The Cubs are in trouble tomorrow!!!!! With the crowd again showing up and going to sit in the left field bleachers for two with the Cubs.

Bill said he has earth mans number so we might have to drop a line to earth man and have him bring us some beer. :D
