1. Earlier this season, the Giants outfield of bonds, finley + alou became the oldest ever to take the field.
any idea on who the trio supplanted?
2. The Giants had the bases loaded the other night - bonds, finley and alou were on board.
any idea on the oldest trio of teammate baserunners has ever been?

I'll take a guess on the fielders:
The 1928 A's had a couple of 40 year olds on it playing the OF plus a 33 year old: Cobb, Speaker, and Miller?

Correct, there combine ages added up to 114.

I thought of another trio that would be higher, but I'm not sure if they ever played in the same game together:
Bonds, Grissom and Alou from the 2005 Giants..

33 + 40 + 41 = 114
I can't swear, that they played together in a game.
