Yes with April closing out I would like you to all meet your first place team in the NL West. The most impressive thing about this is the Rockies are doing it with there Road record and now without Todd Helton!!!!! :thumbsup:

Getting praise for a great bullpen this year is what this team didnt have last year is what getting it done this year.

If Mesa can keep the ball out of the ear hole of Omar I think they can.

The Rockies was the best team in the west last year from June on. The bullpen was so bad last year that they lost about 90% of the games that was handed to them those first couple of months. The young guys was hitting just like this year on the road and home but when the Rockies went to the bullpen game over the other team was going to win. As long has Hurdle dont blow the pen here in the next few weeks I think they can keep it up.

Looking at the past the Rockies go as the pen goes. If I was GM I would have the hitters they got. You can get hitters all the time to come to Coors, take pitchers that are just happy to have a job. So much history there that they seem to be the best or like they are doing now with the young guns and then SPEND the money on the bullpen. I would spend big money on them.

As long as the pen stays fresh and as bad as the whole NL west is this team should be right there.

Did you know that this team is getting it done on the road this year and not at Coors. :eek:

Hey Willie how is Atkins treating you? He is still hitting the ball fairly good and doing it on the road also.

This team has lost 3 road games this year so far!! The 2nd best April of all time for the Rockies!!
