Tied for first and smokin hot is certainly better than 4th place and lookin dead like how we ended last April :D

Wang vs. Wakefield
Chacon vs. Beckett

The pitching looks like gambles on both sides. Should be interesting :smokin:

Well, I think it's official.

Tanyon Sturtze sucks.

And someone needs to inform Torre that Kyle Farnsworth is alive and OMG HE'S ON OUR TEAM! :hmm:

HAHA and Mike Myers as the LOOGY for Ortiz..

...it was a nice plan, but holy mother of crap that SO did not work!

Well, David Ortiz really is our anti-christ. He is like the AL's Albert Pujols. :ugh:

And I really hope Tanyon gets sent down to the Clippers when Dotel comes back. It's really stupid how Small got the loss yet Sturtze is the one who blew it.

Well, I'd hardly say Sturtze cost us the game. He only gave up one hit, albeit, to the only batter he faced. But Small put the runners on and Myers put the game out of reach.

Nonetheless, Sturtze shouldn't have been out there. That's Farnsy time.

Yes, Small was responsable for the runners on, but it's Sturtze's job to come in and get them out. Thats why Torre called his number. But of course Sturtze had to give up the go ahead hit to Loretta. So, yes, he is responsable for the loss.

And on terms of Myers. He's been pitching pretty solid this year. And well, Ortiz pretty much owns us. :(

Still, when we lose by 4, it's hard to put the blame on the guy who comes in for one batter and gives up a single, no matter how much he sucks...

Blame Torre. (1) Sturtze is done, and (2) he should never have been put in that situation.

I guess so.

He pitched alright yesterday.
