Man, I haven't been on here in a while and I still have the most recent post.

Things are pretty depressing for the Pirates these days, but they did call up Jose Bautista and he looked terriffic. He was hotter than hell in Indy after his slow start, so maybe it is his time. It better be.

And Sanchez is looking good. As much as I like Joe Randa, that signing is turning out to be a mistake.

Anyway, doesn't it just seem like you can't blame him? No matter who we get rid of (Ty Wigginton) they seem to play well, and whoever we keep or sign on to the team immediately loses their abilities.

I've been away for a week, but I think it's just a couple of us here periodically. I had the same thought about the Bucs being snake bit. If Perez gets traded he'll win 20 games within 2 years. Or at least make the Bucs look dumb. Look at Arroyo, Schmidt, Shelton, et al.

I said before that I think Bautista will settle in RF and I still believe it. Why not 3B? Because someone in management has it in their heads that Neil Walker is going to be the 3B of the future. And Bautista has a real gun for an arm.

Has anyone else noticed that the Bucs top prospects (Eldred, Bautista, Doumit, Paulino) are all about 25? Most studs are already starting by that age. I think Eldred will be another Ron Wright. Look for Doumit to take the job IF he hits.
