Anyone else tooking forward to the big HUGHES vs. GRACIE fight coming up on the 27th??? Damn, it looks like an awesome fight. I got Hughes by decison in three. Who you got?

-Too bad Shamrock vs. Ortiz got takin off, it would have made an excellent combination. Ortiz messed up his knee at the end of the first round against Forrest and it pushed this fight back.:wedgie:

I freakin hate Gracie. I hope he loses. I'm an Ortiz fan. I know ZERO about this sport, I watched Gracie once and decided I didn't like him.

-I can't say I hate Gracie, he's a legend and the person who brought Brazilian Jui-Jitsu to MMA. If you watch his first fights (I assume you saw on Spike) you saw a very raw sport, a sport that was more of a no holds barred kind of fight. Now the entire game has changed and Gracie should be more entertaining. The one thing about Gracie is that he has NEVER lost. His records shows a loss, but that was because he got hurt in an earlier match (they fought the whole tournament in one day, open weight) and was going to fight but was too hurt.

-Trust me this Ortiz is nothing like Big Papi. Tito is an absolute disrespectful asshole. :rant: He's talented, but he's a class A jerk. On the show he appears to be an OK guy, but in the ring he shows NO CLASS. He refuses to shake his apponents hand, walks out on news conferense, and talks about how bad his oppenet was. He's a prick. I know Shamrock is a hot head, but the whole thing that started this fued was when Tito beat a fighter out of Ken's Lion's Den and then grabbed his crotch and pointed at Shamrock. As a fighter he's a bad ass and a lot of people used to really like him (until Chuck and Randy beat his ass).

---I found out that not only will Liddell be fighting Babalu in August, but also:

-- in July there will be another Sylvia vs. Arlovski fight. Sylvia has said that he hates that everyone is saying his win was a fluke and wanted to settle this with Arlovski (I think Arlovski will kill'em).

--Also, Ken SHamrock will be facing FORREST GRIFFIN very soon

--Rich Franklin broke both his hands and fractured his foot against David (The Crow) Loiseau and is almost ready to start fighting again.

--UFC signed a new middleweight division fighter Anderson "The Spider" Silva, who is supposed to be a bad ass.

--David Loiseau is supposed to fight a new highly touted fighter, my guess is that it's Silva, but that article was right after the Silva article, so maybe it isn't. (Frank SHamrock??)
