12-12 pitcher's duel in the 9th. :laff:
Yanks come back from 9-0.

13-12 Texas now. Don't fret Yankee fans, this game is far from over. Mariano never seems to do well when Joe brings him in tie games. :notme:

Yanks up now. Does Texas even have a closer?

Yanks complete comeback. 14-13.
Texas should be absolutely embarrassed. How f8cking bad can your pitching be?

both teams should be embarassed. but texas should indeed be more embarassed.

Otsuka is the Rangers current closer. Cordero was the closer, but lost his job after a terrible start to the season.

Why should the Yankees be embarrased? They won. You're never embarassed when you win.

fair enough, but you have to worry about your pitching if it gives up 9 runs in 2 innings.

exactly as datch says: giving up nine runs in 2 innings is pretty damned embarassing. just lucky that you faced the yankees.
of course the win is good, but 13 runs given up is never a good thing.

As much as it pains me :D, I'm with Royce on this. The Yanks have nothing to be ashamed of. Every team gives up a lot of runs a few times a year, almost never do teams come back from gigantic deficits.

Giving up 9 runs in 2 innings is called baseball, not embarassing. Doing it day in and day out is embarassing. Unless Posada shat himself running the bases on that HR, then I guess you could classify it as embarassing.

Otsuka seems to have recovered from Tuesday -- he looked pretty good yesterday. IIRC, didn't he strike out the side in the bottom of the 9th?

Yeah, he shouldn't have even brought him in. Mo, doesn't have his groove yet and you ask him to find it in a tie game. But, like I keep saying Torre sucks at managing the pen.

I've been sans internet for a week, but I was watching the score change on the ESPN ticker. Which, btw, was a blast :D
I'll have to find time to watch this game on MLB.tv
