At least, they didn't get spanked this time. Cornejo got his first start and wasn't terrible, just bad enough to lose. So what else is new? He did look better today than most of ST. He did throw way too many pitches early, though. Cornejo does have one nasty sinker. His off-speed stuff still needs work.
The "Fire Garner" camapaign I mentioned is really taking off around here. If the losing continues, Scrap Iron will be watching games on tv by this time next week.
On the bright side, Higginson went yard, which also helps one of my fantasy league teams. Colon won for Cleveland and I have him in another league. They haven't played a week and I'm already relegated to following my fantasy league squads. Of course, I can still hope my other team (Boston) plays well.
Of course, there's the happy news that this Tigers forum is heading for over 100 posts. Still trailing those pesky Twins.
