I just don't get the game. I have tried to watch it, but I can not get through a whole game. Am I missing something? I am not disrepecting the game. I just thought maybe there was something I didn't know.

So, you don't like soccer like most of the rest of the world doesn't like baseball. It's really not that hard to comprehend.

Yo, Liverpool :wave1: Welcome to Addicts. I have very good friends over in Woolton, love those scousers!
redsfan, I'm not a soccer aficionado myself, and not really into all of the wrapping yourself in a flag stuff. But I love World Cup play. One of the best sporting events I ever saw live and in person was the 1994 Brazil-Holland match in Dallas. My advice to you is to head to the nearest British-style pub in your area when a game's on and sit in with some folks who really know the game and will explain some of it to you. Once you learn just an inkling of the game's nuances and subtleties, it might grow on you a bit.
Plus I've rarely met a soccer fan who didn't like to drink beer. In that way, it's a lot like baseball :D
