Monroe Leaves The Game With Injury

Tigers LF Craig Monroe had to leave the game with an apparent ankle sprain in the 3rd inning of tonight's game in Chicago.

Monroe hurt himself as he tried to get a long fly ball off the bat of Scott Podsednik.Monroe leaped up to the top of the fence and as he came down,his left ankle got caught in between the padding on the wall.

He had to be helped off the field by the trainers.

At least he went down in a blaze of glory. I give him an "A" for effort and an "Doh" for the results.
