Third stop on our road show tour will be here in the Windy City. Ask a few questions here for Ray and the rest of the Cubs fans out there (actually anyone can answer) and then shoot over to Comiskey (sorry, U.S. Cellular Field just doesn't do it for me) to say hello to Eric. :wave1:

OK Cubs fans, it's a safe bet that Sammy Sosa holds the team record for intentional walks in a season, but what Cub ranks 2nd on that list?

The famous Adolfo Emilio Phillips had 29 in 1967. Where does that get me?

The most Gracey ever drew was 14. (Remember, you're looking for an OF)

That gets you the big 'nanner ol' buddy.

Sosa set the standard with 37 in 2001 and Mr. Cub drew 28 in 1960.

What was the name of the kid I got into a fight with back in October 1962 that led to my lifelong distaste for the Cubs? Bastard still owes me a dime from our bet

Bonus: Name the kid's big brother who beat the snot outta' me after I kicked his little brother's ass.

Since 1957, four Cubs have had 6-hit games. Name them.

Gracey had one 5-hit game but never a 6-hit. Good guess though. Demaree played before the time frame I asked for. Since 1957.

Billy W. had 3 5-hit games in '72 but he never had a 6-hit game with the Cubs. Two of the players who did it were OF's however. The other two played infield positions.

One was a HR hitter.
One was better known for his glove than his bat.
One had a lot of hair.
One was once mugged in New York City.

 Yes he did. July 2nd 1993 at COL. He also stole 3 bases in that game.

Bill Madlock?

 July 26th 1975 in a losing cause against your Mets. Felix Millan had four hits for the NYM.

That's two of 'em.

Sandberg was the kid that Willie got into a fight with when he was a kid that made him hate the Cubs?:eek:Wrong :D

Eddie Parker was the kid I got into a fight with because he wouldn't pay me the dime he owed me after my Colt 45s finished ahead of the Cubs. Eddie had a reach advantage on me that afternoon in Hagar Park. But I was like Joe Frazier --- hard-headed and tough inside --- and I whupped him fair and square.

Walking home after the fight, two of my buddies beside me and happy as poop that I'd whipped that little brat, Eddie's big brother Mark --- I was almost 8 so Mark was probably about 11 --- rode up on his bike and laid into me as my two buddies scattered to the far corners of the globe :hmm:

Nope. You're looking for a guy with a major head of hair and a pretty good glove man.

Not King Kong, neither of the 2 players you're looking for would be considered power hitters. I thought for sure "big hair" would give it away.:notme:

You're looking for 2 players who collected 6 hits in a game for the Cubs. One is an infielder (good glove man) and one is an OF (big hair).

The OF had a cousin who did something pretty special.

The infielder had something in common with Pete Rose, Frank Robinson, Mel Ott, Lou Boudreau and others. Yesterday was an anniversary for him as well.

Both players got their 6 hits in extra inning games.

That's the one. On May 2nd 1976 in the first game of a twin bill against the team that originally drafted him, Jose "Big Hair" Cardenal went 6 for 7 in a 14 inning win over the Giants. Nice work Eric.
