I was very surprised that this was only the 9th time a Met hit for the cycle, and only the 3rd time at Shea. Very very surprising.

This past Sunday was my first in-person Met grand slam, but I was watching the game on tv for Eric Valent's cycle, and I'm pretty sure I watched a good chunk of the game in which Keith Hernandez hit his. (I didn't make it for the whole 70 inning game.)

Yeah Jose!!!

btw, my Saturday section has been singing the "Jose" song since the season started, long before the audio people at Shea started playing it. :D
