I was able to get Mookie & Dykstra at a Dunkin Donuts in Brooklyn near Coney Island. Not all stores are participating.

Bummer. :( I've failed in the first part of my mission for the lovely James. :(

I just stopped by the local DD and they aren't participating! :( So, if you can get hooked up with the first two coins, which apparently won't be available after today, I'll just keep my eyes open and stop in any DD I happen to pass in the next couple of weeks, to try to hook you up with the other 4.

yeah i had a feeling it would only be a select few esp. cuz there are so many DDs in ny/nj. there are alot of the "fake" DDs in manhattan, the ones that are half Baskin Robbins, half DD. i am sure they won't have them. pretty impressive that you were able to get them Gary :thumbsup: i'll check the one in my hood in brooklyn today.... i have a feeling they won't have them either but i hope i'm wrong....

yeah. the DDs in Jersey are full blown hardcore DDs. people go in there and sit and eat and spend like an hour inside. most of the ones in nyc are half DDs and half Baskin Robbins or half Kentucky Fried Children or whatever. so i wouldn't think they'd have DD promotional stuff...... i'm thinking there might be some in the boroughs, like where gary went..... OH WAIT, i just realized--hey Gary, did you go to the DD near Brighton 11th street?? :eek: by the train station???? there's a pet store and Duane Reade next door? that one??? :eek: (if so, that's my old 'hood :crying2: awww i miss that neighborhood so much!) yeah that DD would definitely have it......

Cyn, the Dunkin Donuts that I got the Mookie and Dykstra coins at is at the intersection of Avenue U, West 13th Street, and Stillwell Avenue.

That sorta sucks that they charging for them. :(

it's a brand new Dunkin Donuts, that's why it's so nice :D it's on 9th Street, corner of 5th Avenue, across the Chase bank. you can take the F train to the 7th Avenue stop. they're selling Mets coffee mugs too :thumbsup: also icky skankee stuff, but just ignore them

so the only bad thing about going there is I ended up buying 2 donuts! :( chocolate frosted! and i just snorted them 5 minutes ago :( oh my goodness how FRESH and squishy they were!!! i fear i might be tempted to buy more when i go back! :no:

I picked them up in one of the gazillion DD/BR combo stores. They are indeed "real" Dunkin Donuts.

So I guess I now have and extra center field platoon, since Cynthia will be taking care of James. (?)

New coins come out tomorrow.

There's a "stand-alone" DD on Lexington between 85th and 86th, but it's really tiny so I don't know if they'll carry anything like this.
