I'm really surprised, given the way that game ended, that a Boston station is airing it.

Well it was part of the 20th annaversary of that team. The station that did the rebroadcast had a contest. They had people send in alternate endings to the game. The winning replace what really happen. This time buckner made a fantastic fly ball catch. I thought it was kind of stupid myself but fun to listen to a 20 year old game.

I own the DVD set. I haven't watched it yet though. I'm saving it for a long winter's day. My next major DVD purchase will be the 2004 Red Sox WS set.
