Jose Lima with 6.99 in 2005, he also had an ERA of 6.65 in 2000, which is 3rd all-time.

Can anyone name the pitcher who is in 2nd on this list?

Why is this a pattern the Mets would choose to follow. I really in the depths of my soul hope that thus is not the correct answer....because if is why on earth do the Mets keep bringing him up to pitch? He certainly can't be the best we've got to throw out there as an emergency starter...

If you think that's bad, in December 2004 Lima was successfully sued by a woman who claimed she had contracted genital herpes from him. Faced with counts of assault and negligence, Lima may owe the woman as much as $950,000. He claims to have contracted the incurable disease while on vacation in the Dominican Republic. Hey, it's Lima Time:luvkiss:

All-Star pitcher Mark Redman?

Lima is correct with that nice 6.99 era... At least the 6.99 era is better than the 9.87 era he has for us this year... Thankfully, he will not be around much longer for him to break his own record;)

Andy Ashby had some pretty bad ERA's, but I don't think he pitched enough innings.
