Can someone explain why the christ any Red Sox fans would be interested in watching a 1988 game in which we lose 18-6 to Detroit? Seriously, they couldn't find a better game to show?
EDIT: Nevemind. The TV Channel had it listed wrong. The Sox did win that game.
Nothing to see here people....move along.

Earlier this year, they had Sox/Yanks replays. I, mistakenly assumed they would only replay games we won. Wrong. Nixon homers in the first, 3-0 Sox. I watch the whole game, we lose 9-8! :Pissed:
Always check.
Unlike YES and the Yankees, NESN shows games that Red Sox lose? :laff:

According to YES programming, every victory in the history of the Yankees has come against Boston. Seriously, have you ever flipped to a YES Yankee replay and seen a different opponent?

Almost never. It's like they spam YES with Yankees beating the Red Sox when showing Yankee classic. Jeez, they're showing the Melky catch game for like 1,000 time already.

That catch wasn't all that special. Look at Ibanez or Gary Matthew Jr.'s catch, then look at Melky's.
Matthews Jr.'s catch was flat out one of the best catch I've seen to date. Lol, I remember NY papers were ranking Melky's catch among the great catch by a NY baseball team. Comparing it to Mays' catch.

It did save a game. And I was watching A-Rod's 10 RBI game vs. the Angels the other day. ;)

You guys get YES? :( Do you have the dish?
EDIT: Is it a Connecticut thing? Cable in Mass doesn't offer it.

YES is part of Comcast basic cable in this neck of the woods.
I don't get SNY though. I'd trade YES for SNY so I can see some NL games.
I don't understand the concept of blacking out Met, Sox and Yankees games if that person does not have the channel that's showing the game. I don't have the Met channel and they black out Met games in my area. I don't know, but they didn't use to black out games on ESPN in the past, did they?

I just have Extra Innings. *shrugs*
On the subject of Melky's catch it was a good catch. But they really did/are over rating it. Mathews Jr's catch was like... "I AM SPIDER-MAN!"

Well, I rarely turn on YES unless the Yankees are losing (or they're playing the Red Sox), but they do show games with other opponents. They are, in fact, rather fond of showing games 1, 2, 4 and 5 of the 2000 World Series. :(
