It is so good to see that the Tigers are doing so well and I am so happy to see a full stadium. The only thing that sucks is the ticket situation now. It's difficult to get 2 or more tickets together. Gone are the days of walking up to the box office before the game and getting tickets. If you don't have tickets at least 6 hours in advance, good luck! Nick and I tried to get tickets for the remaining Saturdays as we have been going to every Saturday home game. We were only able to get 4 more games due to no tickets being available for seats together, singles only. In fact you're lucky if you can get two tickets in the same section. It's kinda like a slap in the face to the loyal Tiger fans who have been with this team through thin and thin. For years I have been attending Tiger games and the people that I have been with and I were the only people in the entire section! I want to know where the heck all these people where during those years? What about 2003? This frusterates me to no end to see all these fair weather fans come out of the wood work this season. Where's loyalty? Where's the diehardness? Where's the love? I miss the days of being in a park with people truely loved the Tigers. It was so nice to sit and talk Tiger baseball with true fans. This season all I seem to sit next to is a drunk guy who doesn't know the bat boy from Maggs. This should be the happiest season of my life - and as far as the Tigers go, it is, it really is. But I am longing for the days of yester year when only the few proud and true actually came to the ball park.

I get tickets to about 2 games a year. I live an hour and half away so i've never really been able to just go up and get tickets at the game with hopes theres some available. I also only sit in the infield box (even thought tonight i'm sitting in the outfield box), so if those tickets aren't available i don't go. I don't think it's all bandwagon fans like people keep saying. A lot of it is people who would normally go to 4 games, now go to 8-10, and it's also the popular thing with the people who aren't sports fans, which i wouldn't really call bandwagon.
