The Jays are shopping Shannon Stewart, a .300 lead off hitter with power who plays LF, looking for a front-line starter. I believe he is a FA after this season however. With Adrian Brown's shoulder in question, he would seem to fill a big leadoff void. Short of a sign and trade for Schmidt, and a couple of minor leaguers, any chance our new GM would have the go ahead to pursue him? He'd be sweet at the top of the order followed by Jack, Casey, Giles and ARAM.
