I remember a number of weeks ago Ortiz hit a walkoff homer off a relatively young pitcher whom Ortiz had never faced. Jerry Remy said something along the lines of: "You wonder what these guys are thinking. honestly though, I'd take my chances with Manny at this point. manny's a great hitter, but he is not as clutch as Ortiz is. He has a tendency to ground into double plays in those situations.
