It's the unis from 1976 and they also honored Randy Jones, the Cy Young Award winner that year, having won 22 games.

Both teams are wearing home versions of the unis above. I always liked those Astro unis. Can't say the same about the Pads unis but at least the home version is mostly white. :laff:

I never really liked or disliked the rainbows, just accepted them. But I have a buddy who thinks the road uniforms then were the best ever in team history. It scares me when he says, "Oh, I really liked the rainbow piping on the shoulders and sleeves." Grown men should never discuss 'piping' :no: :)

I always liked the Padres old uniforms. I also hated the Astros uniforms. They looked too ???(can't think of word) to be basball uniforms. I did like the hats though and would love to have one.
