And we still trail the Shanks.
Red Sox got owned by Fossum again? Why can't they hit him when everyone else in MLB usually smack him around. He must want to pitch like a stud against his former team all the time.
Hansen blew the game out of reach by giving up 3 runs in the 8th inning.

Hansen has been anything but Promising this year.

well, today our favorite pitcher is throwing for us; Jason Johnson.

Well, he had a solid outing against a good offensive team in the Indians. Let's hope it was just not a fluke.

The Red Sox will drop two of three to Kansas City BECAUSE THEY SUCK.

There's a good possibility we get swept. I mean we barely beat them in Fenway. Two 1-0 wins. Not a chance in hell this horrifically bad pitching staff can repeat that.

Red Sox are slowly fading in my mind. With the injury on Varitek the leadership in that ballclub is at an all-time low.

Eh, it kind of irks me when people say "we barely won"
We allowed no runs, we owned them. We didn't need more than 1, which is awesome!
But the Red Sox are SCREWED unless they get another starter!

Well that's too bad, because when you beat the KANSAS CITY ROYALS by only 1 run, that's getting lucky.:eviltongu

Did David Ortiz actually say that? LOL And to what team?

He did. During the 2004 playoffs.

Not when you pitch a shutout, that's skill.
Are you sure Ortiz said that? That's exactly opposite of what I'd expect him to say.

No offense to PissedPrincess, but I don't believe he said that, I'll need to see proof. It sounds so opposite of Ortiz.

Against the Royals, it's the easiest team to shut in the MLB, since they are one of the worst offensive team in MLB.
It's consider much harder to only give up one run to our offense, consider one of the best in MLB, than pitch a shut out against the Royals, half of their players should not start or even be on MLB roster.

Oh for God's sakes you and Datch both. Yes he said it, would you like me to dig up a 2 year old link? IT WAS A GODDAMN JOKE! He said it to Steve Buckley before the playoffs started.
Buckley asked how do you think you guys will do in the playoffs? Papi said, hey man...insert my sig.
You don't like him now Datch? You've got to be kidding me.

I just really don't like that trash talking bullshit...regardless of whether it was a joke or not.
