Beckett has already fell apart, 5 runs. He's lost his control this game, 4 walks already.

He allowed a first pitch triple, which messed him up.

 Boston can still win it but Beckett has been lousy.

Wow. Youk gets a run back, 7-4.

Another hit, and Hale waves Manny in and he's out by a MILE, that was the worst baserunning call I've seen all year. Hale is great, but he botched that BIG time.

Then, Pena has a 2-0 count, he checks his swing, the ump calls it a ball, and THIRTY SECONDS LATER, he changes his mind, and it's a strike. Then Pena strikes out.

What a STUPID inning, ugh. It could have been 7-5 or 7-6, but Hale and the ump blew it.

Manny wasn't running hard all the way...I'm so tired of that shit.

I disagree, he was running hard.

The only thing he did wrong was, he froze. However, that alone should tell Demarlo to stop him. 4 hits off of Zumaya, a simple sac fly would have scored Manny, or a double gets you 2-3 runs.

Hale blew that call, and the ump blew that strike call HORRIBLY. How do you wait half a minute to change your mind on a check swing?

you call that running hard? I can understand slow, but i've seen manny run a lot faster than that. You can see him speeding up after he realizes it's going to be close!

and he does it all the time...it pisses me off so much.

I do agree with you, however, that Manny should not have been sent...but im pretty sure even mirabelli could have scored on that...the left fielder even threw it into 2nd base because he was SURE that there wouldn't even be a play.

Well I didn't see the ump's decision on reversing the call, but taking 30 seconds to do so is unacceptable.

Consider Manny was not running hard from 2B to 3B. Not sure why Hale decide to wave him around at that point. Manny did start running much after Hale waved him around, though not sure why Manny did not decide to just stop.

Manny should have been hustling from 2B to 3B and Hale shouldn't have waved him if notice Manny was not hustling all from 2B to 3B.

No, Mirabelli would not have made it. Manny jogging equal Mirabelli running. ;)

The season is sinking again........I doubt we can beat Verlander.

Then lots of games against the steroid infused Yankees.

again? hadn't you given up 3 weeks ago? Did you un give up the season?

I doubt we can beat Verlander.

funny thing about baseball...you can't predict anything, because ANYTHING can happen. Like us beating verlander. Which we did.

Then lots of games against the steroid infused Yankees.

whatever...yankee redsox series are always fun to watch, and we always play each other tough.
