:duh: What the :censor: is happening with these boys? :banghead
I am beyond annoyed! The team is BETTER than this :flush: garbage!

:Pissed:

There has been some serious rumblings amonst the team about the front office tweaking the chemistry by letting go of Vinny and EY which really should not have happened but of course the front office is turning the tables by saying "we're giving guys like Ben Johnson a chance" and "we believe in you guys" but really this team needs to friggin HIT THE BALL!

Oh and Peavy shaking off his catcher on Sunday so much turned out to be a case of bad perscription of contact lenses. :duh: And here I was :Pissed: at the Peavster for shaking off his catcher and seemingly didn't know what to throw. Silly me. :D

So now, after being swept by the Giants and under .500 now let's see how last year's NL West Division "Champs" will handle the next 6 weeks. A sweep by the Giants is quite unacceptable.

Going to the game tomorrow night. I'll be in the front row of the left field porch with friends. The seats are GREAT. And I bought the ticket of a guy named "Nick Piazza". :laff: No relation. But what a cool guy - former Navy guy who used to work in the White House during the '70s and '80s. We tease him all the time - calling him "Uncle Nick". At least I can have some fun at the ballpark despite those Padres.

I'll be in the middle/right of the left field porch and I'll be wearing a deep red/marroon and pink shirt with black trim. Most people up there wear white or black and I thought about wearing my Hoffy t-shirt but eh, I wanted to dress up a bit today at work since I'm going directly from work to the game. At least most of the people will be driving north to the Del Mar Race Track this afternoon so the traffic shouldn't be too bad.

OMG, are the Chargers playing at home AGAIN?

That means a traffic jam near my house. :duh: :barf: :banghead

:notme: I guess I'll just have to go out downtown, after the game. Go ahead, pull my arm, make me do it. ;)

Actually tonite is one of the better nights to go out after the game, the boys are known to show up at the various places. But now that I think about it, maybe not. There's a RARE Sat day game tomorrow - stupid Fox game of the week. :duh:

I'm excited to see how Phillip Rivers does against the Bears D.He looked really impressive against the Packers last week.

Everyone here is really excited about Rivers. He KNOWS the system and he knows the coaching staff really well. I think Rivers will do really well this year and the Bolts are going to give Denver a great challenge this season. :duh: What am I going to do? I love the Broncos but somehow the Chargers have really gotten to me too...it helps listening to SD Sports radio all the time. :laff: I've never rooted for 2 teams in the same division before? Wonder how that will work :notme:

It's very hard to do,if not impossible. Trust me. But at least it's only pre-season.

Yeah, I think it will be impossible. I'll root for the Chargers unless they play Denver. I've liked Denver far too many years to suddenly switch. I have no reason to switch too, unlike the NYY debaucle in 2000!

They didn't have the Pads game on the DirecTV tonight.

Awwww, it was a fun game. :D Mike Cameron :love2:

I heard about the Chargers - too bad. :(

Well, I hope to hang out around the third base side in the next couple of days for some dugout watching. I haven't done that this season and I always enjoy it. I want to go to one of these Dodger games but am house sitting for a friend and giving some attention a her kitty. We'll see... but the Padres have GOT to win at least 2 of 3 from those Dodgers!
