Last I heard, we were trying to get Jones from the Braves, then ship him off to the Astros for Oswalt back around the deadline. Obviously, that never happen.

While that's always true, we have to give them a mind blowing offer, meaning we have to give far too much for Oswalt's value, to get him. If I felt we were one pitcher away from being one of the top elite team, I say make the move, but too many questions with the bullpen at the moment, I won't want to over-pay for Oswalt, if we could get him.
