For now, the only certainty surrounding Chargers linebacker Steve Foley is that he will miss the entire 2006 season, after San Diego placed him on the reserve: non-football injury list Monday. But those who know Foley say it is uncertain whether or not the linebacker will be able to play again. Doctors still are assessing the wounds Foley incurred after an off-duty police officer shot him three times -- twice in the leg and once in the arm.
