Would it have to go to Steve Nash....? I would have to give it to him... Who else is there I do not like Peja too injury prone and not a fighter... He can shoot but not all around like he was before... I would have no choice but to =give it to Nash...
TIM Duncan does not count even thought he is on the Virgin Islands and yes I think NASH is better then Yao.....
Id choose Dirk over Nash.
Top Foreign Players
Dirk
Nash
Kirilenko
Manu
Gasol
Iglauskas
Yao
cant think of that many off top of head.

I'll go with Dirk but AK47 is a close second, but if we talk about underrated and players that you forgot international players I'd say:
Tony Parker (France)
Boris Diaw (France)
Mickael Pietrus (France)
Zaza Pachulia (Georgia)
Andrew Bogut (Australia)
Luol Deng (Sudan)
Andres Nocioni (Argentina)

Yea Diaw and Nociono are great players. Especially Nociono, he is very agressive. But yea id go Dirk, then Nash/AK.

Ginobili
There are so many foreign players in the NBA now that has so much potential. If you are saying who is the best NOW, then I would have to agree with most of you guys with Dirk. HOWEVER, in the future, I would have to either go with Yao or Tony Parker.

I'll go for Manu Ginobili
I RESPECT Manu a whole lot and think he is great but he had a pretty bad season last year compared to the previous 2... Dirk is great but he chocked....
Talking about potential does anyone think bargiani can make anything happen> the #1 pick from Toronto they say he is LIKE dirk...

Well Dirk had the victory in his hands and then went out 3 games in a row? A leader should carry them.. I feel he is soft... I dont know why i LOVE dirk just feel he is 2nd best with AK47 3rd..

HAHA Darko what a character and what a dumb move by the Pistons... Sure you cant really say much because they DID win the championship that year... But ya SAM BOWIE=Darko

But ya SAM BOWIE=Darko
Not so fast! I think Darko can really break out in Orlando, he's surrounded by some good talent and he'll get a chance to play. I see Darko being a strong contributor for the Magic this season

Sorry to bump this thread, but I have a new list of the Top 10 international players in the NBA (according to SLAM Magazine):
1. Steve Nash
2. Dirk Nowitzki
3. Yao Ming
4. Manu Ginobili
5. Andrei Kirilenko
6. Tony Parker
7. Andrew Bogut
8. Andres Nocioni
9. Luol Deng
10. Mehmet Okur
Looking at this list gives me an idea. The NBA should have a US vs. World All-Star Game like the NHL did for a few years. There is a wealth of international talent in the NBA and it'll really show who's the best in the league.

I think Kirilenko is underrated. I think he's placed well here, but not among the whole entire pool of NBA players.

Kirilenko's intangibles are quite underrated. He's 6'9" and blocks shots like he's 7'2", he runs the floor well and he shoots well for a guy his size. The only thing is he can't stay healthy and that's probably why he doesn't get the recognition he deserves.

Another reason that AK doesn't get noticed is that he is in well Utah. I know we have all heard about the crazy Utah fans. The riots where they litter a couple cans of diet soda. If he was a Lakers or a Knick the man would have blown up by now.

That's also true. Utah has been a great team over the past two decades, but some of their lesser known players haven't got recognition because of their location.

So I assume Tim Duncan is technically an american? If you're born on the virgin islands you're american I believe?
Also, I think Tony Parker is a lot like Nash. If Parker left the Spurs for another team he would make a similar impact on that team just as Nash has on the Suns.
I'm a big Parker fan.

The difference between Parker and Nash are their shooting, Nash is an excellent 3 point shooter, while Parker has the mid-range shot.
