When Bryant McKinnie first came to Minnesota in 2002, he wasn't sure how long he would be sticking around.
A bitter 98-day holdout clouded his rookie season and left him with an unsavory opinion of former Vikings owner Red McCombs.
With new ownership in place, and a brand new contract extension signed Saturday, the big left tackle won't be going anywhere.
McKinnie signed a seven-year, $48.5 million deal that includes more than $17 million in guaranteed money, providing the former Miami Hurricane with the financial security he had hoped for as one of the league's emerging stars at a competitive position.
With the broken up forums I will post some more out in the open now. :D
I would like to add onto this also with a reason I thought it wouldnt happen. Was last year when they was talking about dumping Culpepper (Before love boat) and McKinnie said that if they get rid of Culpepper to get rid of him also. He must have liked the money or the way the team is headed!!!!
