:D They might beat the Niners by that much but they might need some of those points to carry over for their sleighride to Minny

After grumbling for two years about his limited workload, Rams RB Steven Jackson is averaging 22 carries this season, easily topping his prior career average of 16.9. He's the NFL's No. 3 rusher, with 224 yards. Only Atlanta's Warrick Dunn (266 yards) and Cincinnati's Rudi Johnson (241) have gobbled up more real estate.
Ask me who I would pick for my number one running back in the NFL.........
Go on ask...............
Ok I will tell you. It is Steven Jackson. I think this guy is a stud. I love to watch Rams games to see him run. The Rams will be better with him getting most of the work load.....

Hey, the Rams are a surprising 3-1, and are in good shape to be 4-1 with Green Bay up next! Granted they still don't look all that impressive, but it's 3-1 nonetheless.
The four games following will be tough (Seattle twice, KC, San Diego).

In a move to upgrade special teams, the Rams signed Seattle linebacker Isaiah Kacyvenski to a one-year contract on Tuesday. Kacyvenski's release Saturday was a surprise because he was Seattle's special-teams captain. The Rams created a roster spot for Kacyvenski by releasing safety Dwaine Carpenter, who was inactive for all four contests.

In his first season in St. Louis, Tony Fisher has carved out a niche for himself as a third-down back and special teams core player. But it looks like Fisher's season is over after he hurt his right knee late in the first quarter Sunday. "Tony Fisher has a pretty significant knee injury," coach Scott Linehan said after the Rams' 31-17 loss to Kansas City. "We think it's an ACL." As in torn anterior cruciate ligament. Fisher was scheduled for further testing, but if that's the case season-ending knee surgery is next.

Rams defense blows.
On the positive side, Mark Bulger been quite good this season. Man, he's cut back on INT since that Martz left.

Yeah, Marc Bulger is having a great season. Only one interception through eight games. Of course, the offense has not been the problem the last 7 years...

Although the results of Rams RB Tony Fisher's MRI exam weren't in as of Monday evening, coach Scott Linehan feared the worst. "It's a probable (ligament) tear," he said. "Probably he's done for the year." Fisher went down while returning a kickoff late in the second quarter. "It wasn't when he was hit; it was when he making a cut right before he got hit," Linehan explained. Not only was Fisher a key member of several special-teams units, he also was the third running back. His absence creates a two-pronged gap that will take some creative maneuvering to fill. "We're going to have to add a player or two to our roster between now and Wednesday," Linehan said. "And whoever we bring in, if it's one or two people, we've got to have some help in our special teams as well." Street free agents could be the answer, and the Rams plan to look at several. At least one player was expected to audition Monday night at Rams Park; others will get tryouts today.
