Well, I'll tell ya!

Up in Maine, The U of Maine Black Bears are retiring his number. Yes they are.

He's also accepted a job coaching high school baseball at a school called Boys' Latin in Maryland.

And, he and the missus are expecting their 6th child.

Don't ask me how I know all of this. :D I have my ways.

This was in a local paper in Maryland:

The latest shortstop to give high school baseball a try is Mike Bordick, who takes over for Roger Czerwinski at Boys' Latin. Czerwinski did not leave the cupboard bare for the erstwhile Oriole, whose arrival at Camden Yards coincided with Cal Ripken Jr.'s move to third base.

And here's the article about his number being retired.......and it looks like he's playing in a game up there after the ceremony. Oh, man. I'd love to see that! :cheer:

Here's an article from CSTV.com

Whoooooa, doctor! That is cool. I remember seeing him play college ball, and I think it's the first time (at least in my memory) that a player I saw in college ever had his number retired like that. Way groovy!
