Boomer vs Maddux

Huge four game series, but tonite's pitching matchup should be fun...for the Padres. When he was with the Cubs earlier this season, I seem to remember Maddux was hitting the shower early. :thumbsup: Piazza knows Maddux well from their days in the NL East and Piazza will be catching. Just the idea that Piazza will be catching Boomer too, will be fun.

Am going to be at Junior Seau's Restaurant tonite to watch the game. Going up to L.A. tomorrow to attend the game - :duh: but that means I have to step foot in Dodger Stadium. :barf: But there should be a ton of Padre fans and Woody pitches tomorrow and he hates the Dodgers as much as I do...and that is saying A LOT. :thumbsup:

CY pitches on Sun and thenthe Peavster on Monday. I might have gotten Woody and CY mixed up on what days but no matter. They all pitch well against the Dodgers. First place, here we come! :clap2: :cheer: :jump: :banana:

Well, the loss isn't horrible. The Pads needed to get to Maddux early but instead they tried to swing early on in the count and Maddux got to the Pads bats. It was sooooooo frustrating but I do know Woody is going to be ON tonite. He's pitched really well lately. Not that Boomer didn't pitch well, he did okay. But the Pads bats need to wake up!
