Now hopefully this time, first will stick! Nice win last night, Hensley pitched well as he has pretty much all season. I'm really happy with his season effort. And Trevor needs 2 saves to tie the all time save record. I want to be there this week when it happens. If not, then he needs to wait to get to Phoenix when I can see it. :) Although he got his 400th last year in St Louis. How appropriate would it be to break the record that LaRussa padded! :laff: I respect Lee Smith for sure, watched him pitch many times. But the way that LaRussa went about Smith getting that record... I never liked LaRussa anyway.

Boomer goes tonite. Last two outings he pitched well so I expect a win tonite. Let's hope that amazingly talented Pirate staff continues to do what I expect them to do against the Dodgers. They can lose on the weekend when they come to San Diego. :D

Always, Willie, always. :D

Well, the Pads lost last night but then again so did the Dodgers so the Padres remain in first place. Now it would be nice to have the Pads up a game and half but the bats didn't seem to want to wake up. Very annoying! Everything they hit last night was at someone. Those snakes are a good team and that Gonzalez (pitcher) is also good. If it weren't for the pennant race I might have enjoyed his performance more.

Got my tickets for the last four games of the homestand. Gotta love those $5 tickets! :woohoo And the right field usher, Franklin (from Brooklyn) gave me some very cool baseball cards since I love the Mets. I can't wait to give them to my nephews (since they have all my old cards anyway). Franklin is the usher known as "The K guy" from Qualcomm. In Petco though someone else has taken over that duty but Franklin is always around for the high fives! He's so nice. I'm going to have to stop and get him a bottle of wine as a thank you. But make sure you stop and say hello to him if you ever do go to Petco. He's a great guy and a fantastic baseball fan!

LET'S GO PADRES!!!!

I don't care who comes out of the west as long as it is not the Dodgers. I have never liked them. I used to hate that troll LaSorda.

 The Dodgers cannot lose enough games for my taste. :laff:

In SoCal, the Padres play the little inferior brother to the Dodgers and quite frankly it's beyond annoying. The Pads are a good team and I do want them to beat out the Dodgers just so the Dodger fans here in SoCal will stop acting so superior! :barf:

Now, as a Cardinal fan, you would think you would not want the Pads to win. We're fighting with the Cards for home field advantage in the Division series. :laff:

Then again, you prolly don't like the Dodgers either. :D Eh, who really does anyway? :notme: :laff:

And Woody came through again :duh: last night. Great game to be at. I was hanging out in right field this time. Was on the local Ch4 TV as well as on the Diamond Vision. Right field group is fun. There were some young guys whose pants kept falling down to show off their boxers :barf: yelling "We don't want the Wild Card, we want the division" Well, yeah, :duh:

TREVOR IS ONE SAVE AWAY FROM TYING LEE SMITH FOR THE ALL TIME SAVES RECORD AND TWO AWAY FROM BREAKING THE RECORD! :cheer:

I'll be at all the games this weekend expecting to join in on the Trevor
