No it's relief. And we have none. What is goin on here? We spend this boat load of cash for hitters and we hit well. But why don't we spend some on some RP. We got no Relievers that are worth a dime. I think Narron needs to just leave the starters in all game long? Just to see what would happen if a team used it's starters the way they are supposed to. Arizona does it with Randy and Schilling. Why can't we? Just let these pitchers get the confidence they need to get through the jams they are putting the team into. Someone needs to take responsibility.

Also Pudge was out yesterday with Back Spasms, and is here in Arlington getting treatment still. He did not make the trip to Anahiem. So do not start him the next 2 games.

Oh yeah we lost in the 10th by the way. Who cares what the final score was we are just adding to the loss column, 3-10 now.

I have watched El Guapo, Willie Banks, and OOgie blow 4 saves this year. :pissed:

There is nothing more frustrating than a good starting pitching job getting wasted.

Da........ thats not good not good at all for a moment let me gloat for a second the Mets RP is at the moment second to non the Rangers could have had Chen wich I think would have helped them. The Braves are probably trying to get some young RP's maybe there willing to get rid of a couple of their RP's:angel2:

The Mets' bullpen isn't the best in the majors. Personally, I think Pittsburgh is doing better than the Mets. Then there's Seattle, Oakland, the Yankees, Houston, St. Louis, etc.

I would argue that to a point Josh.....

Right now overall the Mets have the 2nd best ERA in all of baseball and their relievers have the 3rd best ERA in all of baseball at 2.35....
The Pirates are #6 in all of baseball which is still great......
Actually only Cleveland and Minnesota are better....You can see now why the Tribe are off to a hot start....1.80 bullpen ERA.....

the pirates bullpen ERA stands at 2.19 as of right now. which is, in fact, better than 2.35... if you exclude Sean Lowe (which i know you really can't do) our bullpen ERA is 0.59--i would be willing to bet that that is the best in the majors.

I am getting my #'s through MLB.com....Unless they are not accurate it shows the Pirates bullpen with a 2.40 ERA thru games of 4-17-02.....That now puts them at #5 right behind the Mets with 2.35....

that is not correct. The Pirates have 3 relievers who have not given up a single run this season. Two other relievers have given up one run... one has given up 2... and the last one has given up 7. That makes 11 runs through 45.1 innings which is a 2.19

Sox have 4 Blown Saves and 4 losses on the year... hmm

Ok, now it is updated correctly.....My fault for trusting MLB.com...
The Mets bullpen ERA is 2.25 which is 12 ER in 48 innings....

I actually think the most amazing part is that the Pirates are #7 in starters ERA with a very good 3.32.....Very impressive....
Hopefully they can keep it up:biggrin:
