3 times this season the 6' 10.5" Princeton grad has thrown a one hitter and last night was the second time that he was two outs shy of a no hitter. He had a perfect game going until the 6th. The defense, as per usual was stellar, BJ (Ben Johnson) made a catch and literally bounced off the left field wall, poor kid. But he came up fine. :thumbsup: Giles made a couple of snazzy catches. Barfield and Walker played their positions well and what's nice to see is Walker playing a good third base. :clap2:
Last night was a real treat, if you didn't see the game, you missed a fabulous one.
Off to BP now and the game. It's end of summer fireworks tonite too. Should be a great night. Tomorrow is last of the home games for the regular season. I'll be heading to a tailgate early.
