Now it's time to

GO PADRES!!!
GO PADRES!!!
GO PADRES!!!

I am going to a home playoff game. I had never been to one before. It's so great that the Pads have home field in this series and may even in the next (although I sure hope NOT).

This city is so excited. The rally last night was the largest at 10,000 people showing up (yes, they did count) and I was surprised it was bigger than in New York. But we all feel the energy, we know how good these Padres are, and you know, I'm kind of glad the rest of the country doesn't. :naughty: This is going to be fun!

I have great seats for the entire playoffs, sitting in the front row in left field, slightly to the right of center in the balcony. My voice is already hoarse from this past weekend...what an experience, what a weird ending to a game too. Bob Melvin kind of ruined it for the Padres to celebrate, but :notme: doesn't change the fact that today we begin our playoff run!

GO PADRES!!!

Well, the ONLY thing good about today is that I just added to my tan.

Peavy has been seriously ticking me off ALL SEASON. He's been getting under my skin because he thinks he knows more than anyone else. His attitude has seriously changed over the last few months and this is not good. :nope: So many have noticed. Maybe NOW he will take a humility pill after sucking on national TV. :duh: He has embarassed Piazza even though Piazza has been so supportive of Peavy. Peavy needs to effing learn that there is a reason that Mike is a future HOFer and does know what the bleep he is doing behind the plate. Funny the last couple of games that Peavy pitched well, Piazza was NOT behind the plate. Funny how Peavy pitched well. There have been many excuses but these two cannot work together even though Piazza works his butt off to help.

Every other pitcher loves working with Piazza. Woody, who at first really didn't like working with PIazza (he bought into the Media crap) has come around and works really well with Piazza. I would like to see Piazza in the lineup as long as Peavy isn't pitching...for the rest of the season.

On to Thurs... Boomer likes Piazza. :D Hell, Hoffy has worked with Piazza maybe twice (once for sure) and these two guys LOVE each other. I've seen it in the dugout. I just don't get Peavy. But then again, Peavy's attitude this year... beyond cocky. He needs to take a serious humility pill!
