My office is opened today so I'm working.

But I'm still on such a baseball high that instead of first rolling out of bed around now, I'm already done with my coffee and my internet reading and I'm ready to get into the shower! I may even bring in donuts to celebrate Saturday's baseball games!

My town always have a fair on Columbus Day weekend, capped off by fireworks Sunday night. It was a fantastic display, lasting 22 minutes. I love fireworks!!

I have the day off. :woohoo I didn't roll out of bed until 7:00 this morning and the high today will be in the mid-80's:thumbsup:

Happy Columbus Day!! :sun: I'm off today and have a painfully long list of things to do. but i'm still super happy from Saturday's fabulous games :banana:

It's a beautiful day in New York! I'm going for a run, and then I think I'll go for a long bike ride, bring a book and just sit in the park and read. I have tons of things I shoul be doing, but WHAT THE HECK!!!! IT'S A HOLIDAY!

Yay for holidays! I have off too! But I'm trying to get work done, but sitting in Washington Square Park with all my Mets stuff sounds like a good idea, I got a new (blank) jersey and a new Mets/69/86 jacket at Modells (but its too warm :) )

I thought it was in Illinois.

Here in Indiana,it's just another Monday.Just preparing myself for the threat of snow flurries later on in the week.:no:

eh, im not in the public sector. I'm in the private sector.

I sort of agree with you. I find it weird that alot of people close their offices on Columbus Day, but not on Veteran's Day. That's just wrong, to me.

But I won't lie, I was happy to have off today :)
