Owens had only three catches for 45 yards. Unofficially, 11 balls were thrown his way, he dropped three, and two were intercepted.
What is your thoughts on the game here?
McNabb looked solid and Owens looked like he was putting to much pressure on wanting to show up everyone. Even his coach's to where he dropped those three balls.
While you cant put all the blame on Owens for this game Bledsoe didnt get the ball to him quite a few times and held onto the ball for forever and a day back there.

They haven't had any time to gel together. Owens didn't play the pre-season because he had a bruised hammy. Once they click I expect good things to happen.

T.O. deserves the respect he gets. I'm personally tired of all the flack he gets from the media. It's over-done. It's tiring. It's ofn. It's not going to kill T.O.'s career ffs. There's at least dozens of players in sports that deserve the kindof negative media attention that T.O. gets. But that IS NOT why ppl bad-mouth T.O. The news is, sickeningly enough, just trying to cash in on controversy. This is about the media making money. This is not about how terrible of a human being T.O. is. He is not a bad person whatsoever.

I think he is on the downend of his career. He can still be one of the best-better recievers in the league, but he looks like he has lost a small step.

I asked for a T.O. Jersey for my birthday. I :love2: T.O.
The only thing TO has lost is most of training camp. TO will step it soon. Also, it could be Dallas offense. They never had a premium reciever so they spread the field by passing to everyone. If TO is still on the team next year, he will be huge. Im not protecting him, but I still think he is one of the best recievers in the league (if he chooses to be).

TO is a bum and team killer. Eagles are better off without him as they have someone who can do all the stuff he does with less whining.
he's on the downside of his career anyways. while he may still be good, you cant expect anything but diminishing returns throughout the rest of his career.

Seriously......T.O. just had 3 touchdowns in his last game. That's not so bad. Him, and Bledsoe just need time to gel. Like clxl said........he hasn't lost anything except most of training camp.
In some twisted way, I believe that Bledsoe, and Parcells are the perfect fit for TO. They're both nearing the end of their careers, and they don't have time to bicker around like Mcnabb. I honestly believe Bledsoe is probably overjoyed to have TO as his target.
As long as I watched the NFL I have never seen a nicer person then Drew Bledsoe. I want to see him win a superbowl so bad. He used to be my favorite QB. :ugh: I believe a nice classy veteran like him will not have any problem getting along with TO. I think they're a good match.

Bledsoe is a classy guy. He took out full page ads in both Boston papers thanking the fans when he was traded to Buffalo. Not just run of the mill thank yous, but real thoughtful stuff.
He wrote " Thank you for teaching me that Larry Bird was way better than Magic Johnson." That was my favorite line.:(
That said, He treated Brady like crap. He did everything in his power to tear the Patriots apart in 01.
THAT SAID, I think he feels bad for that, and I think he has matured a lot. He already has a ring, so I don't need to root for him to get another. I do wish him well though, and I truly like T.O. I hope they succeed together.

well, he did face the 28th ranked defense. really, hes not going to get better. NFL receivers dont get better at age 32. no NFL player does.
but whatever, he'll probably get through this season without any more hiccups and will probably put up relatively close to TO type numbers. AFter this year, who knows. by that time, parcells will probably be done, and Romo will probably be starting. Just dont let kim etheridge talk for him. yikes.

No receiver in football has dropped more passes than Terrell Owens, whom Stats Inc. has credited with 12 drops. The next closest receivers are Minnesota's Troy Williamson (10), who recently was benched, and Darrell Jackson, who has had a history of trouble holding on to the football.
