I'm just curious who other Tiger fans want to see win the NLCS. I'm favoring the Cards a little more just because i think they're a little easier opponent, and it'd be neat to see LaRussa and Leyland go at it since they're best friends and so much alike.
But i do think NY would be a better series, and Rogers has been near perfect against 2 of his former teams in the playoffs, so he probably will against another former team.

I would like to see the mets because then it would truely be what the World Series was ment to be - the best of the best. These two teams have dominated thier leagues all season long. What a great series that would be

I agree, bring on the Mets. I think it would be a neat twist for the NY-biased media if our Tigers could knock off BOTH New York teams in the same year.

I don't mean to start any trouble, but the Tigers didn't necessarily dominate the AL. At one point they were but in the end the Yankees did have homefield throughout the playoffs. But I'll give it to you now, they DOMINATED the Yankees, and they DOMINATED the A's worse. :D
I'm rooting for the Tigers, I usually go for the AL team as long as it's not that team from Boston. ;)

I'd wanna see the Mets because there are like a zillion Mets fans on this forum that would have my head if I said the cards. I fear for my life.
GO METS!

No matter who it is the Tigers have to bring up their intensity after the six day lay-off. There have been only two teams who had a six day lay-off to see who they played in the World Series, and both of those teams won.
