I have Norton Antivirus and recently a friend of mine told me I should delete Norton and pick up NOD32. Anyone know about the program?

I actually like it better than Norton..
Norton is ok, but it has too many useless utilities that comes with it and it slows down your computer big time. I use NOD32, and its fine. Its almost unnoticable. It just sits in the background. When it does its usual scan of my HD, it barely slows anything down.

Is NOD free or do you pay?

Really? I like Norton. What is NOD32?

You do have to pay for it.

Its another antivirus program. Its a very small program that ONLY detects and scans for viruses. Norton has tons of other things that it can do. Like clean your HD of useless stuff or create a back up of your HD. That what I always recommend to people. You can actually make an image of your HD as it is now and if you were to say, fry your HD ;), you can actually install that image onto your new HD and it would be exactly as it was before.
