They're still forecasting rain, and increasing chances as the evening wears on. What do y'all up there in NYC think?

I hope they're wrong about it. But if it is going to rain, I hope it comes in buckets and they can't even get the damn thing started. The umpires, and whichever of Bud's puppets is on hand, will try and play through anything to get the game in once it has started. Would hate to see the NL Pennant decided in drizzle or light showers.

Yeah, I hear the same thing, that the chances of rain increase after dark. Would be an absolute bummer if they get in 5-6-7 innings and then a deluge comes. I can't recall any playoff game in my lifetime being called after the required 4½ innings with one team ahead and that stand as the final score. Can you imagine the uproar if that happens tonight in an LCS Game 7? :eek:

Once they start tonight, I'm sure there will be no way they do that, call a game before 9 innings. Hell, they'll wait it out and play until four in the morning if they have to most likely.

The good news is the Weather Channel has decreased the odds of rain tonight from 80% earlier this morning to only 30% right now according to their website. Looks like the system is moving in slower than they first expected. :clap:

Good news, maybe we can even squeeze in some extra innings if need be. Would love to see an extra inning Game 7.
