Endy Chaves has made the play of the year in game seven of the NLCS.

That ball was gone and Endy pulled it back but even better had the sense of mind to make a double play. :clap2:

This play will go down as one of the greatest post-season gems of all time. Right there beside Willie Mays, Brooks Robinson, Kirby Puckett and Jeffrey Maier.

Absolutely incredible play.:thumbsup:

Not only one of the best plays of the year, but one of the best doubleplays of the year. Thought for sure that was going to propel the Mets after that. A truly unreal catch.

We thought so too. The crowd at Shea was crazy already, and that just made the place shake.

Unbelievable! And it happened so fast! While we were amazed at the catch, he went and gunned down the runner at first!!

Look at his face. He looks stunned in all those pictures.

I turned to Cyn and said, "This is going to galvanize them.....they're going to rally behind that play."

*sigh* Wasn't to be.....but that catch is in the books, at least. I'm so glad we have Endy.

Hat's off the Oliver Perez and the rest of the Met's pitching staff...they really did a great job.
