lol, who the heck picked David Wright?

The offense didn't come through. Oddly, they dent Carpenter, but they struggled against Suppan and Weaver. Weaver and Suppan shutdown the Mets during this entire series. Not to mention the Cardinals' pen, expected weakness, coming through for them as well.

I hate to talk about blame. I'm with Kathleen. It was the Cards. As Eva said, who would have thought that the Cards' pen, which everyone thought was weak......wasn't. :(

I didn't get to see much of this series with work and other obligations, but from what I did see, it was a team collapse. The cards did play above their heads, but the Mets should have beaten them.

Cards did a great job but IMO our offense let us down as a whole... We score a ton of runs all year and then get shut down by an inferior staff....

Thats my opinion...
