Wright & Co. All Set For Japan Tour
Jose Reyes, David Wright and John Maine take off for Japan with the MLB All-Star team tomorrow morning. Reyes and Wright are pictured here during a workout today at Oakland's spring-training facility in Arizona.
"Obviously we get a chance to play with some of the best players in baseball," Wright said. "But the big thing for me is that I've played with so many different guys from so many different backgrounds, so many different countries, so many different cultures. Now I'm going to get a chance to experience what they experience when they come over here to play. I'm looking forward to going over there and seeing the style of play they have."
How is Wright's Japanese?
"Worse than my Spanish," Wright said. "So not good."
(There's another great Ron Antonelli photo after the break)
