The greatly awaited, and widely speculated, NFL debut of Jay Cutler is all but official. Anybody got a 2007 schedule? Because barring injury, Jake Plummer just let everyone know through performance that no one but he will be the Broncos' quarterback this year. "As long as on Wednesday when we go through our walk through and I'm the first guy in the huddle, I guess I'm still the guy," Plummer said. In his two, supposedly perform-or-else auditions against Indy and Pittsburgh, Plummer completed a combined 29-of-48 passes for 401 yards, four touchdowns, zero interceptions and a 115.0 quarterback rating. Under pressure. "Yeah, but it's pressure no matter what," Plummer said. "I don't think there's any more pressure just because there's been speculation. I mean, I'm still not playing unbelievable. I can still can play better."

Well Denver has won all the games they were supposed to. But they've lost to the Colts and Chargers with extremely poor games from Plummer. Put Cutler on the field already!!

Another quarterback that could draw Philadelphia's interest: Broncos quarterback Jake Plummer. With first-round pick Jay Cutler waiting in the wings and expected to take over as Denver's starter in 2007, Plummer is not expected to return to Denver. The Broncos will wind up trading or releasing him, and Philadelphia could be an ideal landing spot. Plummer is familiar with the West-Coast-type offense, as well as the NFC East division, having played in it during his time in Arizona. The market for Plummer is not expected to be active. But the Eagles
well there u go. maybe Cutler won't see the field this season, even though he should.

I like Plummer being the donkey's QB..He is the weakest link of their team.

Hey, Andrew...that's not very nice! First, it's the Broncos not the donkeys! :nono:
Plummer, though is limited in his ability but I would like to see a better Offensive line.

Sorry Yags, they will always be the donkeys to me.
He will now become the new Kurt Warner, going to struggling teams every couple of seasons....Playing a few games before they bench him and replace him with a rookie.
Couldn't happen to a nicer fellow.

You know what? Has a team ever benched their starting quarterback when they have a record of 7-4? It doesn't make any sense. I made this thread at the start of the season.
