With the likes of Colorado players that have made the Majors I'm always surprised that people think you can't snap off a curve at a mile high. I'm sure Roy Halladay, Scott Elarton, Doug Brocail and Shawn Chacon didn't wait till Pro Ball to learn the curve, polish it yes. One of the best curve ball relivers in Orioles history" Tippy Martinez" learned how to throw a curve from a book at La Junta, Colorado, guess the book didn't mention you can't have a good curve ball in Colorado. Gossage had a great fastball but I suspect he was throwing curves at Wasson High School in Colorado Springs.

Nice to see others with the same thoughts as me.

I dont by the fact that pitchers cant pitch at a mile high or that Coors field helps hit homeruns.
I am one that it has been placed in the players head so much that it is just what people think.
But you get those jokers on ESPN that just keep hammering Coors.
