He wants to make a comeback. Could this really happen? Are there any teams out there that would want him after his last showing with the Orioles? He seems to think he could. He said in an interview to an AP reporter:

"I feel good physically, and after a year of resting we are optimistic about making a decision soon about returning to baseball," Sosa said. "I still have a lot of passion for the game and I'm in shape. I want to get to 600 home runs before saying goodbye."

Does he think he would have a better chance at the HOF if he hits 600, or does he want to show he can play at his former level with the tougher drug testing to prove he was not on steroids?

It could be that he has a new stealthier Cork bat that he wants to try:)

Most likely he think getting 600 HR would give him a better shot at the Hall, even though I don't believe he deserve to be there myself. I'm also not too keen on his possible return, especially for a personal goal like 600 HR and not about winning a WS ring. That should be his goal, but obviously, it's not.
