How do you get it so that it shows different images on a sig like a slideshow? I have photoshop do you do it on there?

I use Macromedia's "Fireworks" program to make animated gif's.

If you don't have Fireworks I can make it for you if you provide the images or links to them.

Ok i just talked to my dad (he is the head computer guy at a local college) and he hooked me up with it for free. Do you know of any sites for tutorials and do you have any tips? I thought i needed 50 posts for av avy.

Well, you have an avatar right now so the 50 post mark doesn't apply anymore. The 50 posts may refer to changing your personal text that is now set at "rookie ball player".

You can Google for tutorials or read the Firework's help database. You simply open your images together and select "open as animated gif". Once this is open you can change the settings of how quick the images swap frame by frame and all that other stuff. The help files are the way to go.

it used to be a rule when I became a member (I can't believe i've been on this site for 3 years!!)...but it's sort of faded away. Maybe in order to save the avatar makers here the trouble of making an avatar for someone who ends up only staying for a few days.
